Infrared Sauna FAQs

Have questions about infrared sauna therapy? We've got answers! Whether you're curious about how it works, its benefits, or what to expect during your session, our FAQ section provides everything you need to know.
How does infrared heat compare to a traditional sauna?
Infrared saunas operate at lower temperatures (120°F – 150°F) compared to traditional saunas (180°F – 200°F), making it a gentler yet more effective experience. You sweat more, detox more, and feel rejuvenated without the intense heat discomfort.
How long should a session last?
Most sessions last between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your comfort level and experience. First-time users may start with shorter sessions and gradually increase the duration as they become accustomed to the heat.
Is infrared sauna therapy safe?
Yes! Infrared saunas are safe for most people and offer a gentle, therapeutic heat. However, if you have any medical conditions, are pregnant, or take medications that affect heat tolerance, consult your doctor before using an infrared sauna.
How often should I use an infrared sauna?
For optimal benefits, many people use infrared sauna therapy 2-4 times per week. Frequent users or athletes may benefit from daily sessions, depending on their wellness goals.
Do I need to bring anything to my session?
We recommend wearing light, comfortable clothing or using a towel or robe provided by our facility. A post-session shower is optional but available for your convenience.
Can I use the infrared sauna if I just worked out?
Yes! Infrared sauna therapy is excellent for post-workout recovery, as it helps reduce muscle soreness, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Make sure to hydrate before and after your session.
Will I sweat as much as in a traditional sauna?
Yes, and often even more! Infrared heat penetrates deeper into the body, raising core temperature and stimulating sweat production at a lower temperature than traditional saunas. This allows for a more comfortable yet effective detoxification experience.
Can I combine infrared sauna therapy with other treatments?
Absolutely! Many clients pair infrared sauna therapy with float therapy, halotherapy, or cold plunge to enhance relaxation, detoxification, and recovery. Our team can help you create a customized wellness experience that suits your needs.
