Halotherapy

Discover the powerful benefits of dry salt therapy, a natural treatment designed to support respiratory health, skin rejuvenation, and overall well-being.

What is halotherapy?

Halotherapy, also known as dry salt therapy, is a natural wellness treatment that involves breathing in microscopic salt particles to support respiratory health, reduce inflammation, and improve skin conditions. This therapy is designed to mimic the microclimate of natural salt caves, providing a range of health benefits for those seeking relaxation and relief from respiratory or skin issues.

During a halotherapy session, pharmaceutical-grade salt is dispersed into the air, helping to cleanse the airways, detoxify the skin, and promote overall well-being. Whether you’re looking to relieve congestion, ease allergy symptoms, or enhance relaxation, halotherapy is a safe and effective way to breathe easier and feel better.

Is halotherapy safe?
Yes! Halotherapy is a natural, non-invasive therapy that is safe for most people, including children. However, those with severe respiratory conditions, contagious diseases, or sensitivity to salt should consult a doctor before trying it.
How long does a halotherapy session last?
A typical session lasts 20 min allowing enough time for the salt particles to work while you relax in a calming environment.
How often should I do halotherapy?
The frequency depends on your wellness goals. For general relaxation, 1-2 sessions per week can be beneficial. For chronic respiratory or skin conditions, more frequent sessions (2-4 times per week) may provide better results.
Can halotherapy help with allergies and asthma?
Yes! Many people find relief from allergy symptoms, asthma, bronchitis, and sinus issues after regular halotherapy sessions. The anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties of salt help clear mucus and open airways.
What should I wear to a halotherapy session?
Wear comfortable clothing. If you're seeking skin benefits, wearing loose clothing that exposes affected areas (such as arms or legs) can help maximize results.
Is halotherapy safe for children?
Yes! Halotherapy is gentle and safe for children, making it a great option for parents looking for a natural way to help with respiratory issues or skin conditions.
Can I combine halotherapy with other wellness treatments?
Absolutely! Many people combine halotherapy with infrared sauna therapy for enhanced detoxification and relaxation. The heat from the sauna helps open airways, allowing the salt particles to be even more effective.
How will I feel after a halotherapy session?
Most people experience deeper breathing, a feeling of relaxation, and clearer sinuses after a session. Some may experience mild coughing or slight mucus drainage, which is a natural sign that the therapy is working to clear the respiratory system.

Halotherapy Orientation

Welcome to your halotherapy experience! Whether it’s your first session or you’re a returning guest, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your time in our salt-infused wellness space.

Before Your Session:

  • Hydrate well – Drinking water before and after your session helps support the detoxification process.
  • Wear comfortable clothing – Loose-fitting clothes are best, especially if you’re targeting skin conditions.
  • Avoid lotions or perfumes – Clean, dry skin absorbs the benefits of salt therapy more effectively.
  • Arrive relaxed – Halotherapy is most effective when you enter in a calm state of mind, ready to breathe deeply.

During Your Session:

  • Sit back and relax – The finely ground salt particles will be dispersed into the air, creating a calm, therapeutic environment.
  • Breathe naturally – Inhale deeply to allow the salt to penetrate your airways and promote lung cleansing.
  • Enjoy the tranquility – Sessions typically last 20 minutes, and you can meditate, rest, or simply enjoy the experience.
  • Mild taste or throat dryness is normal – This is just the salt working to clear your airways.

After Your Session:

  • Continue to hydrate – Drinking water helps flush out loosened mucus and enhances detox benefits.
  • Expect mild respiratory clearing – Some people may experience slight coughing or sinus drainage, a sign that the therapy is working.
  • Feel refreshed and rejuvenated – Many report clearer breathing, reduced congestion, and a deep sense of relaxation.
